Reserve Your Spot

All charters depart from Galveston Island Marina, Galveston, TX. Charters operate Tuesday through Saturday, year-round (weather permitting). A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

Cancellation Policy

7+ days notice: Full deposit refund
3–6 days notice: 50% deposit refund
Under 72 hrs: Deposit forfeited
Weather cancellations: Full credit or reschedule, no fee
Reschedules accepted up to 48 hrs in advance at no charge

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks ahead, especially for weekend slots and summer months (June–August). Big game and overnight charters often fill 4–6 weeks out. Last-minute openings do occur — call us directly for availability within the next 7 days.

Do I need a fishing license?

Texas law requires all anglers 17 and older to hold a valid fishing license. Saltwater licenses are available at the Galveston Island Marina office before departure, or online at tpwd.texas.gov. We can provide a group fishing license for parties of 6+ on request — just mention it in the Special Requests field when booking.

What happens if weather forces a cancellation?

Safety is our top priority. If we determine conditions are unsafe (high winds, lightning, tropical weather), we will cancel and contact you by 6:00 AM on departure day. You'll receive a full credit valid for 12 months or a complete deposit refund — your choice. We never charge a fee for weather cancellations.

Can I bring children on the charter?

Absolutely — families are welcome on all inshore and half-day deep sea charters. Children under 12 are charged at half the per-person rate. We recommend inshore trips for first-timers and younger kids. Big game and overnight charters are recommended for guests 16 and older due to the physical demands involved. Please mention children in the Special Requests field so we can prepare appropriately.

Is a deposit required? What payment methods do you accept?

A 50% deposit is required to hold your booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and Venmo. The remaining balance is due in full on the day of the charter at the marina. Cash is also accepted for the balance payment.

Can I request a specific target species?

Yes! We target Red Drum (Redfish), Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Snook on inshore trips; Snapper, Grouper, Mahi-Mahi, and Amberjack on deep sea; and Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, Wahoo, and Sailfish on offshore big game charters. Tell us your target species in the Special Requests field and the captain will plan the route and technique accordingly. Keep in mind that season, weather, and regulations can influence what's available.
